Four jobs. One team that answers.

Getting licensed is a compliance job. Keeping the data safe is an IT job. Landing a new system is a project. Keeping it all safe next year is a training job. Most organisations buy those from four suppliers who never speak to each other.

Data Protection & Privacy

Get licensed, appoint your DPO, and show POTRAZ your paperwork when they ask.

You already look after people’s information carefully. What the Act adds is the duty to prove it: a licence, a named officer, a register of what you hold, notices that say what you do with it, and a plan for the day something goes wrong. That is paperwork with a purpose, and we do it with you rather than to you.

  • Gap assessment with a prioritised, costed plan
  • POTRAZ data controller licence application, submitted and tracked
  • Data Protection Officer: outsourced, or your nominee trained and registered
  • A register of what you hold, why, where and who can see it
  • Privacy notices, consent forms and policies people can read

For: Clinics and medical practices · Schools and colleges · Law and accounting firms · Microfinance and SACCOs · NGOs · Retail and property

Technical Support

The IT department you can’t justify hiring, with the Act’s security built in.

Most downtime is avoidable and most breaches start with something unpatched. We keep your laptops, network, email and cloud tools working and secure, and we pick up the phone when something breaks. Because we also do compliance, the way we set things up is the way a regulator would want to find them.

  • Remote and on-site helpdesk with a named engineer and agreed response times
  • Backups set up, tested monthly, and restored when you need them
  • Devices patched, protected and set up securely; old ones wiped properly
  • Office Wi-Fi, network and internet failover that survives load-shedding
  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administered and secured

For: SMEs with 5 to 100 staff · Professional practices · Schools · NGOs and donor-funded projects · Retail and hospitality

Project Management

ICT projects delivered on time, on budget, and properly handed over.

New systems fail for boring reasons. Nobody owned the timeline, the supplier was never held to the quote, and the staff found out on go-live day. We run the project so none of that happens, whether it is a new records system, a move to the cloud, a second branch or your own compliance programme.

  • A written plan with dates, owners and a budget
  • One point of contact for every supplier and vendor
  • Quotes compared and contracts read before you sign
  • A weekly progress note in plain English
  • A risk list, each with a fix and an owner

For: Clinics changing records systems · Schools rolling out new platforms · Microfinance and SACCOs · NGOs with donor-funded ICT projects · Businesses opening a branch · Anyone mid-migration

ICT Training & Support

Two hours turns your staff into the first line of defence.

Most breaches begin with a person, not a server: a shared password, a forwarded spreadsheet, a phishing email that looked like the bank. Training is the cheapest control you can buy and the one most often skipped. We run short, practical sessions built around your real systems and your real risks, so people leave knowing what to do on Monday.

  • All-staff data protection awareness, two to three hours
  • Data Protection Officer preparation programme
  • Cyber hygiene: passwords, phishing, devices and public Wi-Fi
  • Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, used properly
  • A board or management briefing on what the Act means for you

For: All staff · Nominated Data Protection Officers · Managers and boards · Front-line and records staff · New joiners
